another year wiser?
the other night as i was laying in bed i asked: “wait, did i just turn 28? or am i 27?”
this question was asked with the utmost sincerity because i honestly could. not. remember. then i realized the sad truth that numerically i am growing older, but mentally and physically i’m pretty sure i keep getting younger. this could/should be a good thing, except for the fact that i feel...

you know a movie is good and has the audience completely hooked when the 60-year old woman in front of you turns around at the end and exclaims, “What happened?!?!” and all you and your friend can do is shrug your shoulders and shake your heads in disbelief.

a couple weeks ago i was out in Colorado where i found an old Minolta XG-1 35mm SLR camera at the Goodwill near my dad’s house. i bought it (of course), brought it back home and fiiiiinally finished my first roll!! getting it developed, however, proved to be quite an ordeal. for starters, i figured i’d give CVS a shot instead of the little local camera shop around the corner....
