1. CELEBRATE DICKER DIENSTAG—yesterday was Fat Tuesday, aka. Mardi Gras, aka. the day before Ash Wednesday/the start of Lent. Though I’ve never grown up celebrating Lent due to my (very non-Catholic) nondenominational upbringing, my German class in high school did celebrate Dicker Dienstag every year because why not have a party at school and eat tons of home cooked German food!
